1. Connect Your Ledger Device:
Use the provided USB cable to connect your Ledger hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S, Ledger Nano X, etc.) to your computer or pair it via Bluetooth for mobile devices.
2. Initialize Your Device:
If you are setting up a new device, follow the on-screen instructions to initialize it. This includes setting up a PIN code and writing down your recovery phrase. Make sure to store your recovery phrase securely, as it is essential for recovering your wallet.
3. Access the Dashboard:
Once your device is set up and connected, you will be directed to the Ledger Live dashboard.

In the Ledger Live dashboard, navigate to the "Accounts" section and click on "Add account." Select the cryptocurrency you want to manage and follow the prompts to add the account. Repeat this process for each cryptocurrency you hold.
2. View Your Portfolio:
The "Portfolio" tab provides an overview of your assets, including current balances, recent transactions, and the total value of your portfolio.
3. Send and Receive Cryptocurrency:
To send cryptocurrency, go to the "Send" tab, select the account to send from, enter the recipient's address and amount, and confirm the transaction on your Ledger device. To receive cryptocurrency, go to the "Receive" tab, select the account, and display your address to the sender. Confirm the address on your Ledger device.

Ledger Live offers an integrated exchange feature that allows you to swap one cryptocurrency for another without leaving the app. Navigate to the "Swap" tab, select the cryptocurrencies you want to exchange, and follow the prompts to complete the swap.

Some cryptocurrencies offer staking opportunities directly through Ledger Live. Navigate to the "Earn" tab to see if your assets can be staked. Staking allows you to earn rewards by participating in network validation processes.

Ledger Live supports decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. Connect your Ledger device to DeFi platforms via WalletConnect to access lending, borrowing, and other financial services.

Your recovery phrase is the key to your wallet. Store it in a secure location and never share it with anyone.

Consider enabling passphrases and other security features for added protection of your assets.
4. Beware of Phishing Scams:
Always verify the authenticity of the Ledger Live application and the Ledger website to avoid phishing attacks. Never enter your recovery phrase into any online form or website.
